Macroeconomics I

Description of the discipline: This course provides an introduction to macroeconomic theory and policy. It provides a framework in which the interaction of labor, money, and goods and services markets can be developed, allowing students to understand the process by which the levels of economic activity, employment and rates of interest are jointly determined. The framework is then used to examine how the policies set by the central bank and the government affect the economy.

The task of learning is to learn the general theoretical issues of macroeconomic theory and obtain practical skills to analyzing modern macroeconomic processes.
To achieve the learning outcomes the students must write homework, in which they present their skills of analyze, decision-making and solving the problems as well as the ideas generalization in theoretical part.

Ability and skills: This course aims to develop an understanding of how various markets interact to determine aggregate outcomes such as total production of goods and services and aggregate employment, as well as the determination of prices, inflation rates and interest rates.
